Managing Director, Heraeus Kulzer GmbH

Dr. Martin Haase was born in 1956 in Westerstede, Germany. He has been a Member of the Board of Management at Heraeus Kulzer since 2007. Dr. Haase is a natural scientist with many years of international management experience. Before taking up his current post at Heraeus, he was Managing Director of Leica Microsystems CMS GmbH in Wetzlar, Germany. Prior to that he held various management positions with Siemens AG and was involved in the strategic restructuring of the Siemens X-ray Analysis unit and other projects. Following the sale of the company to the technology firm Bruker, Dr. Haase was named Managing Director and then CEO. With Bruker AXS Inc.’s initial public offering on the NASDAQ stock exchange in 2001, he generated a substantial capital base for the company, facilitating innovation and targeted acquisitions. Dr. Haase lived in the USA for ten years.

Dr. Martin Haase is married and has one child.
