One of Heraeus’ overriding missions is to enhance education and optimize learning through resource sharing and collaboration. Each year, Heraeus provides training, tools and sponsors more than 300 continuing educational events to help dental professionals at all levels realize their potential.

In 2007, Heraeus also officially unveiled a customized version of the video iPod transforming the way dentists receive content, earn CE credits, and access information. Now, dental professionals across the globe can receive live-patient clinical and management training right from the palm of their hands.

Also in 2007, Heraeus issued an educational grant to multiple dental schools through the “Adopt a Dental School” program. The grant enables dental faculty and students to receive live-patient, accredited instruction via satellite directly from many of the world’s leading clinicians.

Hosted by the L.D. Pankey Foundation, Dental Access Days is a program dedicated to providing free oral health services to underserved people across the United States. The mission of each local clinic is to provide as many underserved people as possible with dental care over the course of a two day event.
